While going out for a date, it is very important to just brush up through the essentials once again. It is always advisable to start your date in the right foot. So always get your foundations right from the beginning.

• Bathe- Don’t mind me sounding cheeky, but its true if you turn up unshaven bordering to looking like a hippie, that would terminate your prosperous dating right away.

• Punctuality- The worst thing to do is to arrive late. Always reach on time or 5 minutes before. Reaching late on the first day of you date would send out wrong signals which you don’t want.

• A Gentleman- Be polite to your girl and to the people around you. Hold the door for her, show her the way, offer her chair and offer your help wherever you can. But all that should look very obvious. Don’t overdo.

• Compliment- The one thing that is a must do, especially on the first day of your dating, is to compliment the fairer sex in everything she does. That makes her feel special and important to you. Again, be genuine, and don’t compliment on petty things and exaggerate. Women can perceive more than you do. So she will make out if you are faking.

• Prepare- Always be prepared on the type of questions that she might ask you. It is advisable to be equipped with the answers too. One of the most frustrating things to happen is to drag dried up conversations. When the entire conversation does not head anywhere. When you don’t show excitement and interest while in conversation, that gives way to boring chats and results nothing. Be cheerful and keep asking something about her. That makes her brain tickle and you can keep stretching your conversations. Be prepared to answer her questions intelligently. That would create a good impression.

• Pay- Don’t let her pay in the first instance, even if she insists. Try to be clever and you try to pay. But if she forces you not to, then offer half the amount from your end. That would seal the deal clear in most cases.
