How Can I Tell You

Love makes us all mad. Loves shakes our confidence too. We become terribly clumsy and act foolish when the girl or boy we love pass by. Our tongues become tied and get stuck to the roof of our mouth when the person we love talks to us. All thoughts and words seem to desert us at the moment we open our mouths to speak. Our hands tremble and shiver when our loved ones come near us. Our otherwise confident demeanor lets us down in front of the people we care about. This situation is common to everyone in love and the question in everybody’s mind is ‘How can I tell you’?

Though it is common for all of us to feel this way when bitten by the love bug, expressing ourselves is the only way for the other person to know our true feelings for him or her. There are a million rehearsals done in our minds before approaching our loves and when the moment arrives, all the rehearsals and practices done take a back seat and we let our emotions control our senses. There are a lot of physical reasons why we behave the way we do? Being in love releases feel good hormones called endorphins but they also cause severe emotional fluctuations in the brain, which hamper our ability to express our feelings in a calm and relaxed manner.

So keeping the above facts in mind, the best way to approach our loved one is being simple, honest and by just being you. Lose the unwanted pretensions and say the words in simple uncomplicated sentences. Just be direct and to the point making sure you get the message across clearly. Compose yourself and be confident. Eliminate the fear of failure and rejection from your mind. What good is love when the person who is being loved does not even know that he or she is admired? Tell them how you feel now instead of thinking ‘How can I tell you’? All your life. Remember love just does not only require the ability to love and care, it requires courage too.
